Today we celebrated Eid al-Adha with a whole school lunch and a Bollywood disco. The lunch was provided by fabulous Helen and company. There were spring rolls, onion bhajis, sandwiches, lovely ice cream and more, which the pupils enjoyed eating. We had some fantastic table and wall decorations on display created by the pupils. There were inventive sheep pieces to remind us about the story of Ibrahim and his sacrifice, and some great mosque made using very artistic methods. In the afternoon, the musical Bollywood and Bhangra musical ‘disco’ event was wonderful with pupils singing along to familiar tunes and everyone dancing to the rhythm and bass. It was an excellent celebration and we thank everyone for getting involved to make this special!
