This year’s leavers had a wonderful day out to Witton Park where they looked at some small animals, had a lovely stroll in the sun past the pond and then had lunch on the picnic tables. Afterwards, the pace really picked up at the bowling lane with everyone having a go at ten pin bowling. The Bowlplex in Blackburn is a fantastic establishment for our pupils. They were able to provide access for wheelchairs so that Fraaz and Shakif could enjoy the fun with their peers. Some of us enjoyed wearing the proper bowling shoes and thought they were cool! It was a fun time accumulating a lot of strikes and we even had refreshments served. The winner of the games was Timmy with the highest score and we all think he has been bowling before as he was rather skilful in directing his aim. Everybody were happy and in high spirits with some pupils turning into comedians on the way back! Ask Arron to find out why the chicken crossed the road…
