Fun for 11-19 at Sports Day!

What a fantastic day we had! In the morning each team played 7 games; Rollerball, Rope Zigzag, Parachute, Pass the Bean Bag, Curling, Beat the Goalie and Fishing. Each game was situated in a different place in school and was run by the pupils from TG7. Everyone had fun running around to complete the challenges to earn lots of points before the time ran out. It was fantastic to see all classes getting involved so enthusiastically!

In the afternoon we had a ceremony where all teams were presented with a certificate and medal to celebrate their sporting achievements. The hall was lit up in all its glory, complete with a winner’s podium and trophy on display for all to see. The trophy was presented to the team which accumulated the most points from the games… the yellow team were announced as the winners with an unbelievably high score! After our busy and very hot day, we all cooled down with ice lollies and ice creams outside in the sunshine.
