This evening, our now annual prom took place for our pupils in the 16-19 phase. The theme chosen by our leavers this year was ‘Bollywood’. Our hall has been transformed into a magical Bollywood arena, complete with swagging, flowers, balloons and archways…and even our very own life size baby elephant! We have enjoyed an Indian meal, prepared and served by our wonderful cook Helen and her team. We watched a film made by one of our HLTA’s David, which starred all of our leavers - it was great fun! The DJ kept everyone dancing with lots of music in the Bhangra disco. It was lovely to see so many students and staff - past and present - enjoying themselves and celebrating the end of another wonderful Newfield year. The leavers have spent the last term planning, making decorations and generally preparing for what has been an absolutely amazing evening! A big thank you to everyone, especially Rachael and Helen for organising everything!
