What a fantastic week we have had focussing on swimming! Janis and Nicola - our swimming teachers - invited classes to their lessons at the school pool to raise awareness of the learning which takes place whilst pupils use this fantastic resource. All the pupils had fun learning through the themes of ‘sporting activities in the water’ (competitive swimming, water polo and synchronised swimming) and ‘trains’ (warming up to the ‘love train’ going on a ‘holiday train’ and dancing to the ‘locomotion’) Parallel water based activities were planned using the 4D equipment in the hall and the studio which every class in the school took advantage of and had lots of fun.
