Today, for the first time, clients and staff from Stanley Grange visited school as part of friendship fortnight. Our older students each spend some time with their tutor group at Stanley Grange during their last couple of years with us, meeting new people & learning about choosing what they like to do, following instruction on different activities and working with unfamiliar people. They really enjoy these sessions, and it was great to see some of our former students, who now spend time at Stanley Grange, come back for a visit. They loved the beach experience, and sharing it with old friends - we were amazed by how old some of our former pupils are - it reminds some staff how old they are! Everyone loved catching up and agreed that it was a great morning!
