We have recently established a link with pupils at ‘Shahid Sawrani Jhanpa ML High School’ in Jessore, Bangladesh, after they contacted us having learnt about Newfield via our website. We would like to send our sympathy to all of the families affected by the terrible disaster in the Rana Plaza complex in Savar on the outskirts of the capital, Dhaka… A teacher from our link school contacted us on Thursday to tell us about the building collapse, informing us that the whole country is in mourning and asking us to pray for the people of Bangladesh. We are taking time in classes to reflect with the children about the children who will have lost family members and who are having a very difficult time. We wish to show our support for the people at this very sad time and send our very best wishes to them.
