Day 4 of R.E. week was when classes with pupils in KS1, KS4 and KS5 were finally able to spend some time in the inflatable pods! We had set up an activity for each of the 3 religions today for our youngest and oldest pupils to experience. So in pod 1, pupils enjoyed a story about the Muslim faith, which included trying on headscarves or topis and eating dates. Pod 2 had been set up to look like a Hindu shrine and so pupils were able to explore Hindu artefacts and found out more about Hindu worship. In the studio, pupils enjoyed dancing to Christian songs and playing instruments and then had a quieter, more reflective time about Christian prayer. The other classes have all been working hard today to get their art work ready for the R.E. exhibition tomorrow. So another busy day. We’re looking forward to showing off all their hard work in the morning!
