School has been closed today due to the ice and snow that has affected much of the country. While it may look pretty, the school grounds have several layers of snow all over them, making it impossible for staff and pupils to get in safely. Head teacher, Geoff, braved the weather this afternoon to look at the situation, and arrived at school at the same time as the premises manager, snow plough and gritter! So, we are trying everything we can to make the site safe to access tomorrow because we know how much the children miss school, but with it still currently snowing and further freezing weather forecast we will not know until the morning whether school can open safely. We will update the website as soon as we know - in the meantime, keep warm and safe!
