This morning, students in 11-19 phase performed Oliver Twisted - a series of 8 poems enacted to tell the story of the Dickens classic. The students all worked well, acting, singing and dancing, with highlights being individual solo performances from Arron - ‘Where is love?’ and Ismail - ‘Oom Pah Pah’. We were joined by a large number of parents and some governors, who all thouroughly enoyed the unusual version of Oliver’s tale. The show was greatly enhanced by the 4D studio sound and lighting equipment, as well as expert musical support from Kenton Mann. The morning ended with the 11-19 choir singing a couple of carols, which they sang and signed like angels! Special thanks goes to Keith Park, who adapted the Dickens script, along with PJ Pilcher, an artist who himself has ASD, who did the illustrations used in the program.
