Kidz up North Exhibition

- In Category: School Trips

Today, six staff and four pupils had a great time when they visited the Kidz up North exhibition which was held at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton. This is a free annual event for children and young adults with disabilities and special needs, their families, carers and professionals who work with them. There were over 126 different stalls which offered the most up to date advice and information on equipment, products, services which aim to improve the independence and quality of life for children and young adults with special needs and all those who support them. Lots of the exhibitors offered leaflets, booklets and free gifts such as pens, highlighters, bags and chocolates. There was also a Santa’s grotto which was free for children to go to. We got lots of interesting information to bring back to school. We had a fab lunch at Frankie and Benny’s before heading back to school. Linda and Clare stayed on to attend one of the seminars that are held there, which was a very interesting talk about seating and posture.
