Today many of our pupils and staff are celebrating Eid Al-Adha. We hope everyone celebrating Eid is having a wonderful time! We have been having a ‘Design an Eid Card’ raffle competition which requires children designing an Eid card to enter. 3 names will be drawn from the raffle in our Eid assembly on 6th November and they will be presented with a sweet box of traditional Asian sweets. Every participant is being encouraged to be creative in making a card. So far, we have been receiving cards of various sorts, some decorated with glitter, tactile materials, different colour combinations, Islamic pictures and artworks. You can see in the photograph the impressive range of cards entered for the raffle and there are still more to come!
