Wheelchair dancing has got off to a great start this year! Every week on a Wednesday afternoon, students from Stonyhurst College come in to school to take part in a wheelchair dancing session and they each become a dance partner with one of our pupils. We follow set dance routines to different pieces of music. Pupils are encouraged to communicate with their partner, make choices and join in with musical percussion. This is a fun and energetic lesson and is now enhanced by the fantastic new lighting technology in the hall. As you can see from the photo, both our pupils and the Stonyhurst students really enjoy wheelchair dancing!
