Class 4 at Wellybobs Farm

This week class 4 have had the first of 8 visits to Wellybobs Farm. Even the bus ride was full of anticipation as some of the class were very excited about meeting all the animals. We had a lovely time stroking and feeding all the farm animals. The goats were very cheeky and at one point looked liked they were trying to escape over the railings to come home with us! After a play on the bouncy castle and a snack in the cafe, we were introduced to the reptiles. They were fascinating and a real highlight for lots of the children. We met a grumpy chameleon, a very sleepy lizard and an ENORMOUS snake. All the pupils (and some of the staff) were very brave and handled these scaly creatures. Back in school we spent our afternoon literacy session mark making farm animals, commenting on photographs from the farm and singing animal songs. We can’t wait to go again next week!!
