On Saturday 15th September, Newfield School was invited to Blackpool Pleasure Beach by the Lady Taverners. Five children and four staff were able to go. We were all greeted by the Lady Taverners and each given a wrist band, hat, balloons and a stick of Blackpool rock. We had fish and chips in the Horseshoe Bar at lunchtime and watched a magic show. We then ventured out into the Pleasure Beach to enjoy the afternoon riding the Pepsi Big One, Valhalla for the older ones and Alice in Wonderland and for the young children. We all had a brilliant day out. A big thank you to the staff who made it possible for this trip to happen, and of course to the Lady Taverners for inviting us to such a great day out!
