The Newfield Prom was better than ever this year. With the ‘American Independence Day’ theme, the students turned up in beautiful attire and enjoyed a fun-filled evening of American food, a live band and gift hoodies for the leavers!! We had a demonstration of basketball skills - it felt just like an American High School! The kitchen staff put on a lovely buffet of American classics such as Hamburgers and Hot Dogs!! Yum Yum!! We all danced the night away and were amazed how good Terry, the site supervisor, and his band were - Can’t wait for the Prom in 2013 - what will the theme be next time?!
