Newfield School is licensed by the Autism Education Trust as a provider of the modular autism training programme.

The Autism Education Trust (AET) is a not for profit programme led by two Autism charities (The National Autistic Society and Ambitious About Autism). The AET was established and is supported by the Department for Education. The AET promotes and supports partnership throughout the education system to improve educational access, experience and outcomes for children and young people with autism. Making Sense of Autism
The making sense of autism training will give you a better understanding and awareness of autism and the way it affects children in your Early Years Setting or school.

The good autism practice training is a one day course. It has been designed to support all practitioners working directly with children on the autism spectrum to develop their practice.

This one day session focuses on training for staff in specialist settings who support pupils on the autism spectrum who have complex needs.
