Some of our children in the School for Autism have been enjoying learning outdoors this week. This will become a regular feature in their working week as their teacher, Anna Heyworth, has lots of experience and knowledge of this approach to learning. There are many benefits to learning and exploring outdoor spaces. Studies have shown that learning outdoors can support the curriculum as well as developing social skills, communication and children’s’ well-being.
