Winter Wonderland

As the festive season approaches, I will be looking for Autism friendly activities and events that will be happening in and around the North West. This week I came across an event at Winter Funland, the largest winter wonderland in the UK, based next to the Trafford Centre. The organisers of this event have arranged for a special session to take place which will take into consideration different sensory difficulties. They will be reducing numbers and lowering the lights and music, they are also creating a ‘space to chill out’ for those who are finding it too overwhelming. Details of the event can be found in the link below.
