Children's Mental Health Week - Dress to Impress!

Today our special week celebrating our mental health culminated in a day of everyone dressing to impress - and wow! There were a lot of sparkling outfits, make up, fancy hair, bow ties and some wacky ‘hair styles’ as well!

Children had been designing posters of fancy outfits for a competition and our head Dave judged the artwork and gave prizes. The fantastic clothes and hair of the children also won some of them prizes chosen by deputy Jenny who was very impressed with all the efforts and the glamour!

The kitchen staff had made everyone some lovely ice cream cones as a special pudding which were enjoyed.

Suha celebrated her favourite new relaxing hobby of knitting by completing her scarf this week - she styled it on Dr. Who and we measured it and it is a massive 3 metres long enough to go around 3 people as you can see - fantastic!

We have all had lots of fun this week which has been good for our mental health and wellbeing.

As we head into half term we hope everyone has a wonderful spring break, with hopefully some sunshine to get the daffodils going!

It was difficult to choose the poster winners because they were all fab and creative - well done.
