Martin Callaghan

Martin is responsible for Premises and Compliance within the school, overseeing building maintenance, security, and health and safety. He ensures that the school environment is safe, well maintained, and fully compliant with relevant legislation and statutory requirements.
Martin began his working life as a coachbuilder, where he spent 23 years in a variety of roles, progressing to Production Manager. He later transferred these leadership, organisational, and operational skills into premises and facilities management, previously working at a local training provider for 14 years with responsibility for building maintenance, security, health and safety, compliance, and on-site services.
Martin holds the NEBOSH General Certificate, a BIFM Level 3 qualification in Facilities Management, and an ILM Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
He has also been a governor at a local primary school for 18 years , demonstrating a long-standing commitment to education and school improvement.
